    Ever searched for left hand threaded knobs for rod holders ...??

    Here is left (and right) hand threaded hardware for rod holders (with a handy hole for tightening with plyers) ...

    Here is Hindley 3/8" Stainless eye turnbuckles ... (with both a left and a right this will equate out to less than $3 per rod holder if you also change out your existing right hand rod holder hardware) ...

    You will need a 3/8" left hand spiral tap ...
    DWTG3/8-16LH 3/8"-16 HSS Left Hand Spiral Point 3 Flute Taps

    And you will need stainless 3/8" left hand jam nuts (to create a "stop" on the stainless 3/8" eyebolts from the turnbuckle) ...

    Ricky,

    I actually saw some hand screws that were left threaded searching for regular ones on Google over the weekend. I can't remember now who was offering them but I was surprised that they actually made them. They were the same price regardless of which hand you wanted.

    Bumping this back to the top because we have many new members since I first posted this ...

    The 3/8” stainless turnbuckle at Walmart shows out of stock but here is another : (I would search for a better price) ...
