Default Boots to keep your feet dry

What do you where to launch your boat when you need to just be in a couple inches of water? I don't like wet feet

I plan on wearing my hip boots this spring when the water is cold but in the summer they are hot and uncomfortable.

I bought a pair of Lacrosse boots last fall, worked great just pull them on and you are set. When it got colder I kept them on and fished with them also.

X2 on the Muck boots. My Oregon buddies wear them so I bought a pair. When it is cold weather, they stay in my car. I put them on if I'm by myself. Got tired of Flying Squirrel leaps from the bow of the boat to the back of the car, often ending up with a shoe full of water. The Mucks slip on an off easily and are good to about 10" of water.
Hot weather, I bought a pair of leather fishing sandals and just wade in or out.
