I use 2 hydra -glow green lights 4 feet in length. I usually get thousands of minnows in 15 minutes or less.

    Talking Old school, here ...

Most of the nightstalking I've done, has been with a 2burner Coleman gas lantern w/reflector shield. That was for the first 20 some years of night fishing. Then tried a headlight/styrofoam .... it worked, but used up too much battery power. Got a submersible white .... used it a couple of times, not much luck with "catching" - but, don't think it was the light's fault. Sold it to a member, here. I've also used a Black Light/White Light combo, and it works well, too. Don't do much "nightstalking", these days ... but, still have the Coleman lantern, headlight/styrofoam, and two Blacklight units --- so I've got the "light" aspect covered :p .... if/when I ever decide to start fishing at night, again. :D

My favorite is a flounder gigging light which is submersible. I also use a q-beam.

I use 2 Q-beams and 1 green walmart fluorescent. I also carry 2 headlight/styro lights every where but never used them in 2 years.

I use a flashlight when I'm taking them off my lure. Sometimes I'm under a street light. I've caught the same amount under a street light glow or complete darkness.
