They are a medium tip with is great for casting or longlining. The thing I love about the Southern Crappie Rods less than 11 feet is the cork handles.
I am looking for a new jig casting rod.I am interested in a 6' Southern Pro.Do anyone use this rod?A lot about longer rods but not much on shorter Southern Pro rods. Thanks.

Just bought 2 - 6 foot Southern Crappie spinning rods and can't say enough good about them. Right action for trolling and shoot docks well also. Casting a 1/16 jig is a snap. Worth the investment.
Creativity is just intelligence fooling around
I have one that I use longlinning and put it right next to the motor and just like all the other sc rods they are the best money can buy.

I have a couple 6' SC rods. They're awesome for dock shooting, longlining and a blast in the springtime bream beds.
May the Lord bless you and keep you.
May the Lord make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you.
May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace.
