    No I don’t use them but I have wondered about modifying a t bar close to the deck and extending the individual holders higher using a coupling and threaded rod.

    I use the stalkers and like them. They are sturdy but a lot of moving parts also. But don't bother me.
    Fishing is like pizza.......Even when it's not that good, it's still pretty good!
