    Default Smithville 3-16

Got out for about 2 1/2 hours this afternoon. We must of caught 80 fish. Unfortunately only 9 keepers. Nice to see things picking up though, :D

Congragulations on your catch, at least you were able to boat some fish:D . I am having a hard time this spring. Been to the watermthree times and only boated 1 fish.

Went out Yesterday morning for about 2 1/2 hours. WInd was howling and it was COLD!!! The first 1 1/2 hours was tough. I finally figured out what they wanted (zero movement). I wound up with 10 keepers. I caught 2 twelve inchers at the same time, that was pretty fun.

Thanks tkyhnt... good to know I'm not the only one with and empty live well.
(Haven't been out this year but got skunked too many times last year)

Thanks basscatman... That bit of info might change my luck if I venture out in the cold.

What's the water temp up north, Cook?

Only a few crappie monday, but white bass starting their move up the river to spawning grounds.Small males on jigs.
Not sure on temp.....Sunday was cold and windy, that probably knocked it down a few degrees.
