Anybody been using these reels for spider rigging? Decent drag? Any problems? Thanks for any info. PM me if you would like. CF

I use MCS50 and MCS75 spinning reels with no problems. they have a smooth drag and a decent gear ratio for taking up a couple feet of line when fishing deep. I would suggest pulling off 80-100ft of line on new reels as they come over spooled. This just keeps your line from jumping off spool when boat wakes hit your boat.

I love them, I use the 50 series. They throw great, also.
