Default Frustrated by Broken Transducer Brackets

lots of stobs and stickups where I am trying to fish were breaking a transducer bracket every 2 or 3 times I went fishing. So, I rigged up this device to lift the transducer out of the water when I feel a drag on the bottom of the boat. It is working so far. If you have a better solution or improve mine, please let me know!

Google "transducer shield and saver". I fish Santee Cooper and it is loaded with cypress stumps. Got one on mine and it works well. The sping back bracket is what I have.

I did something similar for Reelfoot and transducer spray and speed.

    I'm impressed.

Bolt on Magnetic mount, for the less talented, but your idea looks like it would work!
