I went out to test these rods, but forgot my memory card for the camera. I hope to get out to get footage on the water. they fish well.

Yeah, I'm happy with the balance. It's a nice medium action rod also. The front half gives, but then it hits that back bone the way I like for a bit of lifting power. I built a 5/6 wt fiberglass fly rod tip with a graphite 9wt butt. It had nearly the same action as this rod.

Thx, dux. I just got back from a trip on the river testing these. Man, what a rod! Caught my personal best stripped bass, hybrid actually.
