I use the Crappie Masters net, comes with 2 hoops, tight mesh rubber coated for spider rigging and a cranking net. When fishing alone if I feel I need a net I take the inner section out with the hoop on it and use it, makes it much lighter. Extends to over 12 feet and stout enough to use as a push pole when needed.
To each there own but I rarely use a net on a fish under 2 lbs unless tourney fishing so I want the sturdiest net I can get for the application.
