    Default Reel Magic

Some of you guys talked about spraying Reel Magic on your fishing line.
Does it not repel the fish? It looks like a lubricant instead of a line dressing.

    Default Very Good question

I have some crappie that I have in an aquarium and I have some minnows and I also have some reel magic in the tackle box. I think it's time for me to experiment.

I have not used the reel magic more than one time. Right now I have new line on a new reel and there is no reel magic on the baits at all.

I too wondered what is in the reel magic. I thought it might be line spraying WD40 on the line and baits.

I am the type of guy that washes my hands when fishing to keep unwanted scents off the baits. I like to fill the truck and boat up with gas the night before I go fishing so that I don't get gasoline on my hands that could potentially get on my baits and turn the fish off.

We use it and have never had a problem. I think it's a silicone based lubricant rather than oil like WD40, but don't hold me to that. - Roberta
