    Default New vertical jigging rod

I am looking for a new vertical jigging rod for fishing light brush and cover. I have three in mind that I have narrowed it down to and need to get yalls options. Either a Southern Crappie 10ft. A 10 or 11 ft ACC Crappie Stix rod. Or a Denali Pryme 10 ft rod. Anybody own any of these with any opinion good or bad?

No opinions on those but I wouldn't trade my Todd Huckabee Dipping rod and Pfleuger President for anything. Every fish I pull out of the brush is cross eyed... and I'm pretty sure it ain't genetics. LOL Lots of great rods out there in the 10ft range, just hard to find a place where you can actually hold each and every one to make that choice.

I have a ten foot Sam Heaton SS with the rear reel seat and really like. I won it and even tried to sell it at one point, but I’m glad no one took it. Good tip and enough middle to control bigger fish. Hold one of these before you buy any other.

I have two ACC Crappie Stix, both rear seat. The 10' is a favorite but I find the 11' to be a little too heavy. Both have excellent sensitivity. They are primarily used for shallow water fishing to get the bait away from the boat. For 15' deep or deeper I prefer my 6'3" St Croix light action walleye rod. I think it's called an eyecon or something like that. One of my favorite rods. I also have the Huckabee Pro. I use it for heavier pitching.

Forgot to mention. Both my ACC rods are the older red series. I think the green series are a lighter action rod.

I really like my 10ft duck commander double touch. Real light with lots of back bone.
