    Default Cabelas Pro RipCord Braid

Has anybody tried Cabelas Pro RipCord Braid line made in the USA? I just got some 6 lb test in it and claimed to have a dia. equal to 1lb mono and going to try it out. Got their blue which is a very lite color of blue. Also comes in dark green and yellow. It really looks good when loaded on the reels and Cabelas is giving it a lifetime warranty also.

I use braid almost exclusively, not only in crappie fishing, but for bass & lake trout as well. However.....I do NOT use "braid" per say. Instead I've opted for the "fused" lines, like Fireline Crystal, with a fluorocarbon leader. Reason being is that I do not like the "buzzing" sound regular braid makes when coming through the guides on retrieve; especially with a fish on. Fireline is soundless and flows through the guides so much better, in my opinion.

Loaded a reel up on a 7’ UL pole and went to the river with a 16th oz jig on it and this line really casts great. Just made a few casts and flips but I really like it.
