Been looking at weather last week today looked best for 50 degree less than 10 mph winds. Always charge batteries every 2 weeks. Put grease in hubs aired tires up (haven’t been in my boat since Oct. )anyway checked if motor would fire. Moved tackle bag out of seat set on floor of boat this was last week. Got up at 5:00 fixed breakfast pot of coffee went out hooked boat to truck closed all compartments thought I would see if motor would fire, nothing looked at key guess I hit it when I took bag out of seat key was on no juice. I did this last year and got to lake before I found out. Weather not going to be out of 30s for high until spring

If you live long enough you will have one of those days. Sorry that things did not work out.
Sorry things didn't go right for you. Are you sure your connections are clean, and that everything is turned off? You might have to disconnect everything but the charger.

Before I had my on board charger I would puul my batteries out of compartment to charge on a trickle charger. That ment unhooking both batteries. We'll after one of the times doing this I left a ground wire off. All other power things worked, but motor wouldn't crank, luckily I had a pull start. I pull started for 3 months before I figured out that I left off ground. I just knew that starter had gone out and it was going to cast me an arm and leg. I felt so dumb, but it was an easy fix!
Sorry for the troubles I keep jumper cables in my boat. I could almost write a book on the times I have screwed up
Thanks for not ha ha ing at me my fault for not check ing the key look for # 2
