Default How do you tie up your rigs.

Was wanting to get some examples and idea of how you tie up your double rigs for spider rigging.

Go to the main forum and do a search for your topic. Plenty of info there. Good luck.

I use a small bucket probably 3 gallon, cut pool noodles to the length of the bucket and with magic marker label the end of the noodles according to what weight they are. I like the smaller buckets because they fit in my rod locker.

I bought zipped grocery bags from food lion. Cut pool noodles to length. Striped them as a guide to wrap. Placed a Sheetrock screw on each line to hold the loop knot where it attaches to my snap swivel. Pretie my rigs and wrap them in. I have a bag for tightline and a bag for longline.

I use loop knots for tying, then use an electric knife to cut the noodles in about 1" slices for storage in plastic food containers.

I tie an improved c&c 1 oz rig. Below the egg sinker, I have a bead and swivel. I also tie on 4 lb line so a hook breaks off if get lots of snags. Loop knot at the top to attach to a snap swivel.
