I'm sure glad I live in the south that's just sad looking
Some of you may have seen a picture that I posted in "The New England States" here, showing how Walt & I put the boat up on stands for the winter. If not, here's a shot of what it looked like back on November 29:
It appears we called it correctly for today, Dec. 10th., we got our first snowstorm of the winter:
The tomb has been sealed! It was a small storm by New England standards, only about 4". But we've got more coming this week and most of the ponds and lakes have a full coating of ice now. Three months to go!
I got my boat put away for the winter a couple weeks ago, probably could have fit another trip or two in with the way the weather turned out.We got our first real snow yesterday and I'm ready for spring already, lol.

"Three months to go". With my crappie addiction I would have to have some kind of rehab therapy. Hope you have some other hobbies to do during those 3 months.

If I had to put mine away every winter I would be looking for someplace warmer.
I would have to go to therapy two to three times per week. Wonder if they have crappie rehab anywhere , I might try to start one of those up somewhere cause I admit I am a crappie holic
I'm with you, it's been 7 days and I'm going nuts
