Road Runners are my fail safe. Whenever the bite gets tough, they will produce. I wonder why I don't use them as often as I think I should?
I just love these baits "Road Runners" for trolling, longlining and pushing. I always have a couple or 2 on a pole or 2. I have seen days when RR were the only bait/jig crappie would hit. Add a nibble for true success. I included a pic of some of m favorite colors.

I have very lil luck with RR's. I try them all the time when I'm long lining with very lil success. I'm always amazed when people push them when spider rigging and wear em out. I always have a few tied on in the beginning but they always end up in my cup holder. I've tried all colors with different styles of plastics with no luck.
They are always in my spread. 7 of my first 9 fish last Sunday came on a 1/8 RR and a stroller.

Adding a Crappie nibble helps, when the bite is tough. Some days crappie want it smaller so I use the 1/32oz. To Gabe Peeps, Trust me, they work, but they are not
perfect, keep trying.
Stroll'R .... Bobby Garland bait with a stinger shad body, that has a curly tail that ends in a boot tail

Is your Crappie bait arsenal complete? No! Because someone is always showing something new or saying that they caught some fish on a ?XXXXX? bait. Then I just have to have and try one myself.
