Default Help with set up need pics of others to help

I have just purchased my first fiberglass boat it is a 2011 nitro z8 with 250 mercury. I plan on putting 8 individual rod holders up front and a Solix 12. Was wondering how it is all going to fit lol. Any suggestions would be great.

I would suggest start with a raised electronics mount in the center - just within arms reach without bending over ...

Then space rod holders from the electronics unit outward each side ...

That's kind of what I was thinking. Was looking at the 12 inch balzout mount

Am also thinking of putting pedestal mounts in the front deck to put us farther apart and more room in the center I think.

I suggest you get your rod holders, TM foot pedal, and depth finder together and don't tie anything down until you are happy that everything works together.

I also suggest you check out the Elite Rod Holders Crappie Master series for individual holders. They're a clean, simple design at a no-frills price point.
