Default Braved the Mighty Platte River

The son and I floated down the river yesterday, if you call it floating or even down??? The river really don’t flow and with the south wind it was like going upstream! Ok we Paddled and Paddled and Paddled.

Hard to fish and didn’t really fish much with the WIND but managed to catch a white bass in the only calm spot we found. My spider rigging set up is not near as nice as those in the background. We even seen a Bald Eagle and Zach paddled and extra 700 yards only to find out it was an old refrigerator. He swore it was a car or something cool. Fun way to spend some time with the son outdoors.

Looks like fun, nice fish. Are those stable enough to stand up and fish?

Probably better pass on that, heck almost fell out of a 18' bass boat twice this month, and yes I was sober, just bad knees.
