Drum roll please. The 2017 Crappie.com JMMA Man Of The Year is.......


Redge


Redge is our 2017 Crappie.com JMMA Man Of The Year for many reasons, some reasons you all may know about, and other reasons that you might not. Redge has been an integral part of this web site for many, many years. His encouraging posts and his humble behind the scenes participation have truly exemplified the spirit of the award. It is my honor to announce to everyone that Kirk aka "Redge" is the 2017 JMMA Award recipient.


Here's just one funny example I have to mention. Perhaps not that big a deal, but just something I have to bring up. Billbob went to an Oklahoma Crappie.com camp. The next year he also "kinda" attended. Redge had a cardboard cut out of Billbob printed up and pictures were taken around camp with that cut out. I thought that was hilarious. I know this is not exactly the type of attribute defined in the requirements for the JMMA award but, it certainly is in the spirit of the award. My dad actually did have a sense of humor and would have approved. JMMA = John Moes Memorial Award, FYI.


Additionally, there are many more examples I can share, some of which Redge him self would prefer to keep quiet just because he likes to stay out of the spotlight. Thank you Kirk for being part of this wonderful community. Crappie.com members are the best.
