Thanks everyone for the welcome. I am getting started on making my own baits in plastic and tying some crappie jigs this winter. I started this summer buying a bunch of plastic bait molds and jig molds. Now that I have some things figured out I plan to make me up a good stash for the spring when I get my dad's boat up here in Indiana. He lives in Alabama and the boat is too much work for him to use by himself so he's giving it to me. I can't wait to get out on the lake and do some more crappie fishing. I bank & dock fish when I can right now but it's not as fun as being in a boat!
