Beautiful morning, would have liked to have stayed all day but too much going on this afternoon and evening. Got into fish right out of the gate and should have stayed on them and pounded out a limit but committed the cardinal sin of leaving fish to go playing around looking for more fish. Scouting around not productive today and ran out of time a couple short of 20. Did see well over 20 keepers but have become good lately at unintentionally letting a few prisoners go free. That includes one 1.25# fish in the net on the front deck that managed to not only get itself off the hook and out of the net but to also do a perfect flop to clear the the lip of the deck of my old Ranger while I was trying to rescue my other rod. Still a great morning to be out chasing them though.

Lol, we will never know for sure my friend but I suspect they were there Friday just in a really bad mood due to conditions, those fish yesterday came off some of the same stuff we fished. I just didn't do a good enough job grinding out a few more decent bites. It is possible they did an out and back in but in the wind Friday if they were out, we weren't catching them anyway.

It is hard to get settled in fishing tournament. More we do it the better we should get. Bout ready to put that wood out!
