My daddy was in WWII. He was a tail gunner in the Army Air Corp stationed in the Philippines. He flew on B24's, B17's & B29"s. His B29 was shot down by Japanese Zero's. He was shot in the thigh, back, hand and ear. He was crippled from then own. As a child, I saw his metals and his purple heart. He died in 2005. Every time I see our American flag, I see him. He was my very best friend. Thank you all who gave and served. May God bless you and keep you.
