    Question New to the board

    Hi,
I've gotten back into fishing and I am looking for some advice. Would like to know of some good spots (either free or pay lakes) to fish for Crappie and Bass in and near Central Ohio. May go to Northern part of Ohio later in the summer if anyone knows any good spots up that way I would appreciate it.

Assuming you have a boat, Delaware for black crappie, Alum for white crappie, Buckeye for both (although the black crappie run skinny for their length). I've also heard good things about Hoover, although I've never been there. Indian Lake can be good in the spring and fall.

And when you come up north, Pymy and skeeter are excellent panfish lakes too. Welcome to the boards from N/W Pa.
