    Default Watts Bar Lake ?

When will they start to draw down Watts Bar. I do not want to get my boat stranded at the dock? Thank you.

There are two recent Watts Bar threads in the Tennessee forum.

Drawdown should have started already, and should proceed to draw the lake down to Winter Pool by the end of the month. When I was there Nov 1st it had already been pulled down about 6" from Summer Pool, but only dropped by less than 1" over the three days I was there.

Here's a link that should help - Watts Bar Lake Water Level

Summer Pool is 741 and Winter Pool is 737 ... but it has been known to drop to 736 in years past. It's pulled down in "inches per day" thru the month of Nov. (rate can be raised due to heavy rains)

You might keep in touch with Camdog38 (by PM) .... he's a local and would know what's happening on a daily basis.

Another resource that may be helpful is the TVA lake info app. I know it is in the Google app store. I presume it is also available for apple. It has all the impoundments on the Tennessee River including Watts Bar. If you tap on the 3 bars in the lower right, you can open a link to the selected lake operating level graphic. Good luck.
