last i heard from friend was he killed them on docks in gravois arm 15 FOW at 12 feet above brush piles, two weeks ago.
We fished down by the Hawaiian Island area on Saturday and Limited out off docks down there. fish were 10-12 inchers.
Caught quite a few Saturday, casting in the wells, or shooting under the swim docks. Didn't really catch any short fish, most were 9 to 10.5. Only had 2 that were solid 11".
Did best with light colored BG jigs on a 32nd oz jighead. 16th oz seemed to drop too fast. For the most part fish were hitting in the first 4 feet of the drop.
Sunday was better for bigger fish, but numbers were down and quite a few shorts. I had 10 that were 12". Electric Chicken seemed like the color yesterday. Pretty much the same pattern as Saturday. Tried some main lake brush piles about 20 ft down. A few short fish, don't think I caught one that measured.
Water temp on the Big Niangua was 58-59 both days.
@lozcrappie
3 of us close to a limit Saturday and Sunday at LOZ. Mostly on Rock walls, main channel, 6 to 15 feet deep. Didn't have to measure a single fish, all 10 plus. 95 percent black crappie. Thick backs! Pink and chartreuse Kaelin jigs. Still a lot of big cruisers out on the weekend.
That sucks. Hope you get it fixed

There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.
sounds like I need a trip to LOZ
