Thanks for the kind words. I've met most of the best fishing friends I have in the world here. Sharing general information should be something everybody here is willing to do. I do get a kick out of talking to folks who won't register as members here but come here for info daily. We call them "lurkers". We will be signing up lurkers as new members at the ShinDig.

Folks not familiar with KY and Barkley are often really intimidated because they are so big. That's why you see so many 20-22 foot fishing boats here rather than the 16-18 footers we saw this spring at Green River Lake.

Best friends in the world? Absolutely. All my friends I grew up with have passed. I have met some fine folks on c.com. I sure enjoy reading what people post.

Brenda and I are really looking forward to seeing everyone at the shindig. Haven't seen Cray in 3-4 years. Looking forward to it.

When you posted sharing information, I think of the Shindig when Terry shared the idea of using beads that clack on the rod so you knew a fish was on while spider rigging. Couldn't wait to try it. With beads on all my rods, my buddy in the back of my boat, facing the back, hey Russ, I hear your beads clacking. Did I mention my hearing is REALLY BAD!
