A friend of mine is going tomorrow and if he has any luck I plan on going with him Wednesday evening. I'll let you know how it pans out.
I was thinking about trying Duck Creek the comming weekend, with it being a shallower/smaller body of water I was hoping it would already be warming up. I was just curious if anyone has tried it yet and how it went for them. Any input would be appreciated.

"Give me crappie, or give me death"
I'm debating on going tomorrow or wednesday, I'm thinking more tomorrow since we are supposed to have T storms wednesday. I haven't fished there in years are the moss beds still good?
I was actually headed there yesterday then got side tracked.

I know the lake is up real high, not sure how the moss beds are. i know by summer they're so bad you can barely fish it.

hit Duck Creek yesterday after work. fished from 5:15 until about 7 and caught one nice fish with another one getting off right at the boat. the guy I fished with had fished most of the day and had only caught one. supposedly they turned on monday but the bite slowed down yesterday. water is extremely high.

I went about 10:00 am yesterday and really couldn't find any place good to fish with the water being so high and the moss already so thick. I never even made it all the way up to the north end where the long jams and beaver dams are, I gave up and went to Otter Slough where I had caught some the evening before.
I heard the today that they have bee catching them around the boat docks. First time I have ever heard of that but the guy was talking to said he saw it lol. But he did say they were catching quite a few. Good Luck.
