    Default Hydraulic steering


    I have an 87 Ranger 20" bass boat with a 225 yamaha the steering cables are getting froze up. I am looking at putting hydraulic steering on it,but the Sea Star pro kit is around 1000 dollars. Has anybody found them cheaper? If anybody has one they want to sell pm me thanks.

    I just installed my seastar kit last month. If you have the model number of the hydraulic kit, and the model number or length of hoses you need, then go onto ebay and start searching. I bought my Mercury kit and hoses shipped for less than 900.00. But man oh man, it's definitely worth it once it's installed. The steering g is unbelievable!
