Agree on catfish and striper, have yet to catch a largemouth crappie fishing.

Caught a largemouth and a northern (nice size, too) today with a 1/8 oz. Mr. Crappie sausage head jig and slaba whatever they call the swim body. With the 7' Sam Heaton rod it was fun.

We catch Bass,Perch,Bluegill on occasion while Crappie fishing but yesterday we caught 2 pike while spider rigging and lucked out both times that they didn't total mess our spread up.

I stand corrected sinkermaker, my wife, and i caught 2 last spring at clarks hill longlining jigs.

Sarcasm is tough in digits. I used to fish for pickles and catfish but moved to the dark side where all I want is crappie and all I catch are pickles and catfish.

I was in Canada last week and caught just about everything on Crappie lures, except Crappie.
