Default Fish are on the Bank Here now

As of yesterday (at Least) the crappie are on the bank and biting. My neighbor caught a nice bunch fishing about 2' deep yesterday afternoon. Another guy he saw at the spot he went to was also getting a bunch using one of the 2 jigs I gave him. I had run into this guy the day before under the bridge here and gave him 2 jigs to try out.

My neighbor told me when he came in that the guy he saw catching fish on the bank was using my jigs. He had thought the guy was using minnows, but now it was the guy I met under 6 Mile Bridge.

Anyway the reason for this post is to tell you they are on the bank now here on Toledo Bend!

I am also guessing they are the same on Big Sam Rayburn, but I don't really know!

I was at Rayburn today and there were none on the banks I was fishing.
But I didn't put in the boat and was just walking the banks of the cove my house is in. Its at Hanks Creek the water there will be colder than further up the lake tho.

You've got it lucky. In MA it's just starting to warm up a tiny bit, into the 50's and 40's, after a week of temps that never got about 20. There's some patchy ice on the pond that I fish and I doubt that the fish will start moving to the shallows anytime soon. You guys have it so lucky!!!!
