    Default Bearing Buddies

    If you have bearing buddies installed and check them regularly, how often do you still need to your bearings out to hand pack them. I still do it once a year, but a friend of mine told me with the bearing buddies installed you didn't have to do that. The insurance and piece of mind to me warrants doing it.

    Brad;

    You still need to repack them once a year. Learned the hard way some time ago, until you have completely filled the cavity in the hub only the front bearing gets the grease. After it is full you have to be careful,for then every time you add grease you push it out the back seal. so it's best to repack every year.

    Question

    You may have not gotten them stolen. When one of the bearings go bad it will knock the buddy off. This will happen with no warning at all till you look in the mirror and the wheel is not running straight.
