Yes it is very stable. Great option for someone not wanting to drill holes,or when storage /rod boxes are too far forward. they can be swung out of the way for access.
Looking for some reviews of the Sidekick double seat setup. Is it really good and stable/solid when leaning over to grab stuff and such with the 3 legs on the base? I know it's higher than some options but it sure seems to have a lot of adjustability.
I'm also considering the Cumberland and EZ.T pole perch double seat rigs too. Been reading several older reviews of these 2 brands but not much user info on the Sidekick.
I'm putting this on a Viper Coral 20ft fiberglass fish and ski for me and my son to spider rig. It has 1.77 seat posts (spring lock... not the j-hook thing). I would like it to break down easy to store also... if not asking too much Thanks for any info or suggestions.

Yes, i have read of lots of satisfied people with the cumberland style and also with the EZ.T pole perch style as well. Decisions...decisions..... I am on the fence between those 2 now.

I have seen and used several different kinds.....in my opinion the SideKick is the best one.....fully adjustable and it is stronger.

I had another brand (EZT) that tore the crap out of the vinyl floor on my back deck on my boat. The side-kick hasn't left as much as a mark. Very stable and my clients love the ability to be able to move the seats in multiple directions.

I have the sidekick on a 18.5 tracker; it's fully adjustable in all direction and angles. It can be disassembled and store in a few minutes

Im running the Cumberland on the front and the back of my Triton TR20. Has been working well with rigging or pulling. Does cover up a livewell in the back of the boat but I feel like the way they are positioned that any of them would do the same. Good luck!
