Default Foot control for the new Terrova with Ipilot??

Was thinking of adding this accessory , any comments appreciated from you guys that have the foot pedal. Hoping to try a little Dock Shooting, was thinking foot control would be better for boat control? I've never used foot control before, thus the question.

    Thanks and Regards

I don't have the new Terrova, however I do have a Terrova and love the foot control. The 16' cable is great. I can control the boat from the tiller when I have guests.

I had difficulties using the foot pedal on my Ulterra so went to using the remote only. Improved my positioning immensely. Spot lock plus the auto nav feature (on slow) really makes navigation effective around docks or along a shoreline (or weedline).

I've got the Terrova Ipilot with foot control. I use the FC 99 % of the time, mostly using the remote for anchoring only. I have no problem dock shooting using it. But I could use more practice on my jig aim!!
