Wow! Nice crappie.
WATCH OUT FOR THAT TREE ! .....
bud said he could feel the hit in the back of the boat ....I sure enough never saw the tree ....but I kinda tune out and tune in when dropping jigs ....best pay attention to boat position for sure ...a hard hook set at 20 plus foot down with mono and a tree right over you will sure enough hurt ones forearm .....
no worries I still landed the fish and went on like it didn't happen ....traffic after work was beyond ugly and a 10 minute drive took us 45 ...but we still found the water and a few fish ...late at that spot isn't good though and he says I just want to keep a dozen ...I said we best get busy my friend or we will be taking sunset photos instead of fish photos .......
fish were holding a little shallower than we have seen in the last 2 weeks at about 18 to 20 down .
it was splendid afternoon with slightly lower temps and a very light breeze ....made for some good boating and a few fish here and there kept it reel .....
until I visit again have a great day and TGIF

Be safe and good luck fishing
Great batch of fish you got there! That arm must still be hurting!

It doesn't hurt until the fish stop biting!
That arm is why God made plenty of water to rinse off the leakage. Glad it's no worse. Nice fish, you makin me jealous.
