    Default Mounting rod holders

What is the best way to mount rod holders to the deck of a boat. In my case I have an early 90's ranger bass boat. (396V)...Do yo just drill a pilot hole and use wood screws?

I use sheet metal screws. Bigger is better. Scott sends BIG stainless sheet metal screws with all his HiTek holders.

Don't drill any holes. Check out our bases for your Ranger that work with your rope cleats. Strong and secure yet easy to remove and NO HOLES in your boat. Extreme Fishing Concepts
