    h0wdy,

I am a crappie fisherman and I also live in Searcy. I am attending Harding University, but have grown up here. I go crappie fishing about every other weekend. I also enjoy heading up to pangburn for some trout fishing. I am going fishing tomorrow down on the little red either at west point or georgetown.

That is a pretty long trek to make every weekend form paragould. Why not just fish closer lakes or are hamilton and greerson special for a particular reason?

Yeah, I think those lakes are pretty special and worth the trip. Heck, it's not that far really. I guide there because the tourism is really good and Jerry Blake helps me out. But, more than that, the crappie are plentiful and I believe larger than average overall. Hardly a trip goes by when we don't boat a few 15-16" crappie.
