    Default First week in August

I know August is hot, but looking for a place within 4 hours of Western Kentucky, to try and fish, I know they will be deeper , but would like to try a new lake, any suggestions.

I would try the Paris Landing/Big Sandy area. Big water, nice scenery, and good fishing.

Enid lake and Grenada Lake, Mississippi. I can be in Grenada in less than 5 hours from Paducah with at least 1 stop.
    Be worth it...
