Search for "Crappie Fishing Forum" - should pop right up.

It's a great app, really. I love it.

The only issue I know of is on an Android, pics over 2.5meg in size will not automatically resize when you post. On an iPhone the auto resize and everything works perfect. I think you all will love it.

Haven't tried iPad yet. But there should be a picture icon (the one with the two little mountains to the left of the paper clip) below where you type. Click on that if you see it and it should ask you for permission to access you photos. Here's a screen shot of the icons and of me making this post.

Feel free to let everyone know on your home state forums. That's prolly the best way to get the word out cause I know when I use the announcement feature of the site many still miss the message. Thanks all. I think this is a great add to the usability of the site. I know I'm really enjoying it.

Slab that's amazing and just got it! Will also try it on the iPad soon. So far I love it!

I still have not decided on what to do with photos I want to share are several places like I could do with Photobucket screwed us all over! I am also now going to just re-build my website which is what I have to do to change it now since I finally took my old PC down as the only reason I kept it here at all was to update my site, lol! That was because I built it using the old Sitebuilder software and that can't be used with my iMac. It's time anyway since I have now had the Apple computer for almost 6 years, lol! I need to change so much on it anyway that a rebuild is about the only thing to do. I would still like a place to put pictures for 3rd party hosting which now Photobucket has went crazy on.

SkipI don't know what to tell you about third party hosting for use publicly. I use Google Photos for storing my pics and having them available to me via the cloud. But I don't use it for sharing. When I share on Crappie.com I upload it so it's local to the crappie.com server. For your website I would suggest you do the very same thing, keep all pics "on that server" and do not use third party hosting. And that's partly because of what happened with photobucket, but also because of the added overhead when you have to rely on another server. You add to response time any time your website has to rely on someone elses server. That why I've removed Facebook connect from Crappie.;com, and that why I removed many ad programs too. When their website stalls, it stalls mine too, and I don't like that.

Yes I agree and really the only reason I was looking for the 3rd party hosting was TFF since you can't upload pictures there. Well I guess they may have to deal with a link unless I can figure out how to use my web site to do that. I can link it, but not sure how to make the picture show up on other places like TFF from my site. My site pictures have always been stored on my site and really don't have much other than that for it to store anyway since I choose to not have a forum. I have just been procrastinating for a few years now about this rebuild, but think now I know how to do it. However still have to learn the online software they have for this, lol! Oh well it on now!

Thanks Slab,

SkipIf a pic is on your site, you should be able to simply right click on it, and "Copy Image Address" or "Copy Image URL" and then use that address to post with. You should be able to even just copy and paste too. Select the image, and then hit "CNTL c" to copy, then mouse to where you want to paste it and do a "CNTL v". I do it all the time.

Just did it with your sig:

One error that Tapa had finally fixed, but isn't fixed in this version.
If you try to post to fast, you get an error, however the box to click ok is hidden.
I have to quit the app to proceed any further.
