    Question Boat Seat

Are there any boat seats on the market that have some lumbar support? It's bad when fishing hurts worse than working!!

If you find one, please let me know. The best seats that I've sat in are the ones that come from the factory on high dollar bass boats like Stratos and Ranger. But those seats cost a lot of money. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I try to alternate standing and sitting. I have a butt seat on a taller pole that I use for part of the day too. A big thing is to use one of the Pro-Tray type trolling motor pedal recesses if you can install one. My boat has a compartment lid in the way, or I'd have one.

I have some pretty bad lower back problems, and I have found that the $30 foldable seats at Walmart are pretty good. They have both the cushions on the bottom and the back.

I have been hunting a seat like that also. And so far. No luck. I have had 2 surgery's on my back. And let me tell you. A few hours is about all my back likes anymore. That is until I sat in a Ranger seat. so guess its time to spend the $$ and buy a good seat.

I just recently boat a boat seat and looked at this one and I wish I had went ahead and spent the extra money on it. The one I got isn't that bad, but I did like the looks of the seat you posted.

I have had two back surgeries and a neck surgery and fishing just kills my back. However, I bought the high dollar SAS seats and they are great! Worth every penny of what they cost. And they cost around $300 per seat. The only place I have seen them in a catalog is Cabela's.
Just looked at the catalog and they are $274.99 and the part number is 01-8807 and it looks like there are three coloars to choose from.

I thought I was going to be all professional looking with the little stool seat on the front of my bass boat I bought last season. Boy that stool seat really hurts with no back support at all, try catfishing on one them things. I just bought a high back seat from wally world for this season $22. Much better :D

1weezer, do this seat fold down? The riding in the boat is not as bad on my back as sitting up front running the trolling motor.
