Hi Everyone,
He is still getting better and better and increasing his strength also. He still has a lot of trouble with his leg and foot and they want him to heal more so they can run a test that sends signals up his nerves and maybe tell where the problem is coming from. Either the metal still in his back or the clot causing pressure on the nerve and if they can't get that taken care of he would not be able to return to his unit. On the other hand if they can fix the problem he should be able to return to his unit, so it all hinges on his foot and if it gets to where he can move it.
He's getting around better with his strength increasing. So he can get around his apartment pretty good not with out the walker or wheel chair, but still need them when they go out like to do some shopping.
He is supposed to get to do some hunting and fishing in a couple of months (May) in South Texas.
His healing has been really something to see; after all it's only been 2 1/2 months since his injury. The Power of Prayer has been showing up for sure!
I want to thank all of you again for your support and prayers.

Do you know what capacity he will be in if he returns to his unit? I am always amazed when a young man or lady is injured; they want to get back into it. This shows they are dedicated to a cause.Originally Posted by skiptomylu

Glad to hear he is progressing, so good.
Good to hear he's doing better. Wether or not he goes back to his unit I sure hope our government takes good care of him, he's earned it.

If they can't get his foot working and he has time to regain his strength he would return to his unit to take on his full duties. If the foot doesn't respond he will not be able to do that so I am not sure then what his options would be then.Originally Posted by DRPEPPER
