    Default Pole Holder questions

This one I am sure is already posted but I am struggling with what to buy. We fish for crappie and also drag bait around for catfish. I have made a bar in the back for two pole holders for the catfish poles but would like something on the side of our old 98 tracker. There is a decent flat area to mount a pole holder, I am looking at the Ram Mount 2000 with the block that you bolt to boat. I am just not sure if this will work the best but want something that is easily swings left to right - not sure if I will do this but think it would be nice.

Before I purchase thought I would ask, I have spotted numerous pole holders n this forum. some of them look like what I bought for the back of boat for catfishing

Fish with my son who 15

    thanks for an info -

If you ever buy spyderlocs, you will never buy anything else. Best rod holder I have every used. I use them for everything from stripers and cats to crappie. I can catch a lb crappie on the same rod holder I catch a 30 lb cat on and it works great for both. Place them any direction you want. In 5 minutes I can go from pulling jigs for crappie with 8 rods all just about touching the water to trolling umbrella rigs for stripers with 4 rods pointed straight out the sides and up in the back. Can't say enough about them. Have purchased 3 different pair with 4 rod holders each now and a few separate ones and absolutely no issues with any.
