Its about physical size....but also its about how many cranking amps....and amp hr. capacity the battery has. Look on your battery.....it should have a group number on it....24, 27, 29. The bigger the number the more capacity. So say you have a group 24 and it seems to get weak running two fishfinders and live well .....then a group 27 would be better. I always use group 31 for my trolling motor batterys and whatever size the cranking battery is that comes on a new boat....ialways go up one size when i replace it.
