    Default Tubes

I have many in my crappie arsenal, but rarely use them during the hot weather months. For whatever reason, I've always thought them to be best used in the colder waters of spring & fall, just after ice out and just before ice up.

Am I missing an opportunity here? Should I try them now?

For sure not to catch a single fish if not in the water. Stranger things have happened.

I use them all year long down here in Mississippi. I may not use them every trip out but I never thought of them as seasonal.

Use them all year round. No reason not to give them a try.

Caught many many tonight, the Bobby Garland shads were getting more hits, but the tricky fish were pulling the skirt so I put the tube skirt on and still missed fish, but the skirt stayed on the hook. Because the skirts stayed on I was able to catch more as they came back to get it again. Tubes
