I have a smart cast use on TWRA lakes works pretty good.
I ran across this last night on the web.
Does anyone have any comments (pro or con)?
It sounds too good to be true - a portable fish finder for uner $40.

Today is a great day
As I am writing this te informercial for the BIONIC FISH FINDER is on. Looks to me to be another one of those too good to be true items. Probably just a product that won't work very well but will make somebody filthy rich.
To make life enjoyable, you must have crappie days.
This little beaut works pretty good but is real simple... no details of the bottom, no sizes or # of fish really, but if you're over fish, it will tell you how deep they are. It also sports a screen light, and fish alarm! I've used it with my float tube and rowboat, but moved up in quality(debate able) to a Bottom Line cheapie, which cost less but shows WAY more. Found out recently that Cabela's sells a transducer clamp that will make any normal mounted-type fishfinder into a portable. Might want to check it out, I made mine out of scrap wood and pvc pipe...
I have a jig with a face like this!
I watched the infomercial once.
I wouldn't let one of my friends buy one. There are too many good ones out there real cheap. Check out e-bay.
