I don't collect rubber bait but just about everything else found in a tree or on a stump. Just trying to keep my fishing holes cleaned up.

Welcome from Central Florida. I have collected so much that it began to own me instead of the reverse. My wife bought me an Umco possum belly tackle box at a yard sale for $20 that had 44 wood plugs in it. Be careful of the fever, you can find things you never dreamed of.

Garage sales are the best ... I'm waiting to come across a bamboo fly rod

Welcome from Alabama. I find a lot of neat stuff to fish with at yard sales and thrift markets. Soft plastic baits can be melted and recycled into new soft plastic baits.

A lot of the guys on the soft plastic forms are always trying to mach old color you can't get anymore. So it's good to have some of the old baits. I just got my hands on the old electric red worms and I'm trying to mach them. And yes I collect old fishing lures of all kinds.
