Do you need a Lake Permit for a Kayak on Smithville if so where do you get it?

If you use the free ramp near Plattsburg or one of the many roads that end at the lake you wont need a pass. If you want to launch at one of the boat ramps or in the park you will need a pass and you can buy a daily pass at the entrance to the ramp and park or you can buy a yearly pass at the office located in the Camp Branch building.
