    Default Crappie March Madness :)

    03/05/07 : 9a-11a
For the 1st hour today I couldn't find a crappie.
    1st hole, 1st drop, 1st fish!

    1st hole, 2nd drop, 2nd fish!

Not bad at all, get a back to back 9" gills.

Notice the 2 jigs that I was using in above picture.

Now after the 1st hour, no crappies, last move before I had to take off at 10a. I finally get a crappie.

A nice 12"er, and the flasher was all lit up too and I had to leave. WELL, I ended up staying an extra hour to put some crappies on the ice. And ended up gettting this dandy 14"er.

Caught that big boy on a home tied black fly (seen in 2nd gill picture above). I finally had to go at 11am, but not after I got this action shot. :D

I think I found HudsonRiverRat's hot hole from the day before.

thanks, yea this working thing is a big bummer when the bite is hot. I've got to work every night this week except friday. So when I get off friday morning from working all night, I'm ended fishing. Sleep is for the weak, although those 36 hours days are hard to do and function. A truely zombie day in store for friday, but will deal with it.
The Fish On is well worth it.

    Thanks,

DragnMag, what is that? must be a little plastic bait. I bet that come open water, they would work great, seems like they want that meat (spikes-maggots) right now. It's hard to get away from something that works.

But, I would like to try some. Got any sample packs that your willing to ship? Lately, I've been getting a few test products, but alway end up going back to the goto's. Although, I just got turned onto a few new products and hand tied jigs and flies.

Thanks again, I should have some more pictures coming after this friday's outing. Stay tuned.
