    thinking of geting some of these for a jon boat anyone have ant sugestions? thanks

    I agree with "CootShooter" above. Make sure you tighten them up GOOD. If not, one time when you lean back, you'll go all the way back! I know!

    Make sure they are solid when clamped on. I pulled a 68 year old man out of the middle of Williamsport/Shellcracker lake about 5-6 weeks ago. His clamp on seat was elevated and when it slipped it dumped him over the side. Nearly cost him his life...
    And please wear your PFDs!

    For that kind of money I would install a Attwood tilt and slide bracket with a better seat.

    Or if you know the seat location will not need to move. Install a pin base and a seat adapter.
