    what style of weedless jig fishs through the brush best? I like the multiple strand plastic ,is there a better kind

    My favorites : "brush" style (top) -- Y-guard style (bottom)


    And while many of these styles can be purchased "off the shelf", I prefer mine "custom made" because I can choose hook size & color and color of the weedguard (in some cases).

    My "go to" favorite is the Y-guard style weedguard on a 1/16oz ballhead with a #2 gold Aberdeen hook and a clear Y-guard. (shown in above pics is the black Y-guard)

    This is my version that i fish under a fixed float in brush 2' to 6' of water during spawn. Works pretty good. Tie it myself.
